POLE END PLATES

Used on plant generator rotors for copper windings protection.
Pole end plates are manufactured with electroslag remelting process to refine steel and clean it from all negative material inclusions (such as sulphur or phosphorus) which can lower quality of final product. After remelting and solidification ingots are forged to improve mechanical properties of steel.
Machining as the last manufacturing process, according the drawings of final user to prepare everything for installation on rotor.
